Our Mission
The organization serves as a personal and professional resource network for women in the CSR industry in Southern California. Through a positive, inclusive and fun environment, it creates an active platform through which expertise in CSR can be shared, enhanced, developed, and nurtured.
Our Organization's Goals
SCLCSR aims to be:
- An inclusive and non-threatening environment for women to do professional networking
- Platform for sharing expertise; to become a resource network that one can turn to for answers to questions
- Expand the role of women in CSR and to expand CSR opportunities for women
- Establish organization to be at the cutting edge of CSR trends and issues
- Create a friendly and fun atmosphere to foster deep bonds and friendships with like-minded

Our Executive Members
Our board consists of five directors and one strategic advisor, all of whom volunteer their time and energy to the organization's operations. The board members are:

07MAY2010 - Additional board member added
Alicia Maldonado, President of Mockingbird Communications and a 25-year veteran in media and public relations, joins the board as a Director. She is also recognized as the first Latina hired by an English TV broadcaster in Joaquin Valley. She holds a Masters Degree from USC's Annenberg School for Communication.
